Financial News vs. Noise
So we have been saying that NVDA earnings would be the most important data poin this week, and they didn’t disappoint. Do I think they spark a rally like we saw in May? No, I think that’s unlikely, the market was in a different place last year. I also don’t think you want to be shorting this market while every dip gets bought up.
I did exit my NVDA longs at the close and will look to get back in on dips, if there are any. Nicely green so far this morning.
This is still a concern. Rates look like they want to go up, and if they do, at some point it’s going to matter.
Think this is going to matter also.

Haven’t talked about China in a bit, but it’s really come off the mat strong. We have been long FXI but flipped short at the close yesterday. Green again this morning, so perhaps a bit premature.
Argentine names were extremely strong yesterday as well. I did take some profits in YPF and GGAL and added LOMA.
After a move like yesterday would like to see how things digest. So far pretty flat pre market.
