As the war in Gaza continues to rage we keep seeing reports of Anti-Semitism on college campuses and really all around the world. One also has to wonder how long Biden can hold out against the far left in his party, especially if it starts to hurt him even more in the polls. Ben Shapiro had an epic exchange with an anti-Israeli activist that I think encapsulates the entire argument. Her claim was the Palestine was occupied, when he asked her which part, her reply was all of it. There it is in a nutshell. Israel is not a legitimate country so anything done against it is ok, but it doesn’t have the ability to defend itself like any other legitimate country would. You are free to make that argument of course, but where does it lead? Does anyone think that Israel will walk away and hand the entire territory to the Palestinians? If they did, would the Jews be allowed to live there like the Muslims are allowed to live in Israel? The answer to both is no. Which means they have to be driven out by force. Who’s going to do that? Countries tried and failed in the past, before Israel had nukes. What this means is you condemn your people and all of your ancestors to endless war.
